The car market continues in a moderate recovery trend - according to data from the Association of Car Importers, which summarizes the dedication in July. According to the data, 22,696 new cars were delivered in July - a slight decrease compared to 22,993 new cars delivered in July last year. However, it should be emphasized that July 2019 is considered a weak month, this is in view of the fact that a new tax outline came into force as early as April 2019 - which led to a halt in vehicle dedication in the months after April 2019.
From the beginning of the year to the end of July, 141,990 new cars were delivered in Israel - a decrease of 21% compared to the first seven months of 2019. Analysis by brand shows that Hyundai, which has been leading the market for several years, is also the leader so far in 2020 - with 21,674 new cars Delivered this year. In second place is Toyota with 17,939 deliveries of new cars and in third place - Kia which delivered 17,326 cars. The controversy over luxury brands suggests that Audi is in first place with 2,443 dedications. In second place is Mercedes with 2,221 dedications followed by BMW with 1,441 dedications.
