The Family Court in Rishon Lezion recently issued an unconventional ruling in a family case. In a divorce case between a man and a woman, court judge Nachshon Fischer ruled that the value of the joint apartment for both parties would be divided as follows - 70% for a man and 30% for a woman - in view of the gap in their income.
The courts usually tend to divide the value of the apartment equally between the two parties during a divorce, but in this case Adv. Roi Sidi's claim was accepted from Sidi Law Firm, which represented the man. - and the man's income, the proceeds from the sale of the apartment must be divided so that the man gets his rifle.
The judge wrote: "I believed, and with a view to the future to come, that the couple before me ended the relationship unequally. A deep gap between the two in terms of the level of their income. "Both parties will have to take care of the roof and feed their common natives, when in this case the defendant has a better starting point than the plaintiff."
