689 corona patients have been diagnosed in Israel since midnight, and the number of patients with a serious condition has risen to 320. This is according to data from the Ministry of Health. Yesterday, 21,831 corona tests were performed. The still worrying thing when it comes to corona infection is the infection rate which is still higher than eight and a half percent.
The Ministry of Health announced that at the beginning of the week, the professionals in the ministry, headed by CEO Prof. Hezi Levy and project manager Prof. Roni Gamzo, will formulate a uniform procedure for restricting gatherings, including businesses, culture and synagogues. On Monday the Minister of Health will bring to the Corona Cabinet a proposal on necessary steps on the subject. The corona ward of the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya this morning determined the death of a 46-year-old man, a resident of one of the villages in the Galilee, who was brought to the ward in critical condition and with background illnesses from an institution for people with special needs. This is the second death in the Corona ward within a few hours. A total of 509 patients died from corona in Israel
