3,500 Corona recoverers have been released from house isolation following the new guidelines

Dozens of Maccabi HMO doctors worked in the last day, releasing more than 3,500 recoverers from the corona virus. The patients were released from Maccabi's home hospital and from the hotels.
The "release operation" was conducted due to the new guidelines published yesterday by the Ministry of Health, which shortens the isolation time of those infected with the virus, as long as they do not suffer from symptoms, and eliminates the need for two negative corona tests.
Ran Saar, CEO of the Maccabi Health Fund: "Our team of doctors and nurses mobilized at record speed and acted like a military paramedic to allow as many recoverers as possible to get out of isolation and return to the routine of life before the weekend. At the same time, we are constantly accepting new patients for home hospitalization and are currently treating more than 4,886 patients. The epidemic is far from over and its center of gravity is in the HMOs that treat about 98% of patients. "
The Maccabi HMO clarifies that discharge from hospital is possible only after a conversation with Maccabi doctors who have been authorized to do so, and not through personal GPs. In addition, the new guidelines do not affect patients who require isolation following exposure to a verified patient and must complete 14 days of isolation as determined by the Ministry of Health.
