The social workers' strike closes 15 days and a solution to end the crisis is not in sight. The protest does not receive serious media coverage, mainly due to the fact that those affected by the crisis are mainly the weaker sections of the population. The chairman of the Workers' Committee, Inbal Hermoni, says that the Ministry of Finance is in no hurry to provide solutions. That more sectors will take similar steps.
Before noon, social workers hold demonstrations in various places around the country in an attempt to raise awareness of the plight of these workers.
The Ministry of Finance stated that "as part of the negotiations, an agreement is being formulated that includes financing the issue of protection and providing grants in the amount of thousands of shekels to each social worker until June 2021, as an expression of the state's obligation to protect workers." "Unfortunately, the workers' representative decided to postpone the agreement due to its desire to negotiate the fixed wage agreements, which is not possible during this period."
