In just two weeks, more than 2.5 million people were exposed to the transplant story "The story goes on" at the transplant center.
The increase in joining the signatories on the "Eddie" card where the signatories pledge that their organs will be given for transplantation in the event of death from an accident comes against the background of the National Transplant Center's "The Story Continues" campaign. The venture also appears on Facebook and Instagram. An increase of about 438% was detected in the number of daily signers on the "Eddie" card
The campaign connects the stories of donors to transplant recipients by using the photo tagging feature on Instagram and illustrates the tremendous significance that one donor has for the lives of many people.
The "The Story Continues" campaign, led by the National Transplant Center in collaboration with Facebook Israel, Shimoni Finkelstein Perlmutter and Maxi Digital, has led to a huge increase in the number of people signing an Edi card for organ donation. More than 2.5 million users were exposed to the campaign on social networks and more than 2,000 Israelis decided to sign the card.
Nearly 415,000 users watched one of the campaign videos. The extensive exposure to the campaign directly affects the data of those who join the database who signed the Eddie card.
The national number of signatories to the Eddie card has reached about one million citizens.
Deborah Scherer, marketing director of the National Transplant Center, said the numbers speak for themselves. According to her, the possibility of joining the circle of subscribers through Facebook has increased their number.
