Since midnight 840 people had been diagnosed with the Corona virus

The Ministry of Health said that since midnight, 840 people had been diagnosed with the corona virus. The data show that the number of seriously ill patients stands at 130. Since midnight, two people have died, and the number of dead stands at 351. The number of respiratory patients stands at 42. The Ministry of Health further noted that the number of active patients stands at 16,739.
At noon on Friday, the Ministry of Health issued new guidelines for the epidemiologic system, according to which interrogation times for detecting patients' contacts will be shortened according to the appearance or absence of symptoms in corona patients.
Investigation times will now be determined by symptomatic and non-symptomatic patients - and by the time the symptoms appear. Locating the contacts will focus on the four days prior to the onset of symptoms at the site in the 14 days as was customary until now, and in the case of asymptomatic patients locating the contacts will focus on ten days. Meaning: The number of people who will go into isolation is likely to decline significantly as a result of the change that is already in effect today.
In a letter published by Professor Sigal Sadecki, the head of public health, who resigned earlier this week from her position, it was stated that shortening the time frame for investigating corona patients would free many people from isolation, allowing the epidemiological system to focus on contacts with a higher risk of infection. "There is a cost in giving up contacts, some of which may later become patients, but the data shows that the price is reasonable compared to the benefit," Sadetsky wrote
