Director of the Ministry of the Environment: halt to the establishment of polluting gaseous power plants

The director of the Ministry of the Environment, David Yahalomi, calls for a halt to the establishment of polluting gaseous power plants around the country, and to establish integrated renewable energy facilities with storage.
"According to an up-to-date report prepared by ministry experts, the combined facilities will save the economy about NIS 9 billion in discounted capitalization over station life, prevent pollution and health damage, and improve the reliability of the electricity supply.
