The culture world will be back to life performing on June 14th

Posted on May 24, 2020 by Ifi Reporter - Dan Bielski

Less than a week after taking office, Health Minister Yuli Edelstein and Culture and Sports Minister Haili Trooper tonight agreed on a plan to bring the culture world back to life performing on June 14th.
According to the new layout, performances and performances can be held in the halls around the country with a maximum occupancy of 75%, with the conditions being remote, wearing masks and maintaining hygiene. At the moment it is only about shows in halls with marked places.
Tickets for shows will only be purchased online and each group of purchasers in one order will be able to sit in a sort of "capsule", with each capsule separating from one chair. The shows will be held without interruption and heat measurement will be performed at the entrance.
If 75% occupancy means over 500 participants, the show will require the approval of the Director of the Ministry of Culture and Sport in consultation with the Ministry of Health.
As for visiting museums, it has been agreed that as of May 27, one person will be allowed entry on every 7 square meters compared to 15 square meters as is customary today.
It's time for people to enjoy cultural shows. But that, too, can only continue if each and every one of us follows the Health Ministry's instructions, "Edelstein said.
"I am pleased that we have been able to inject oxygen into the cultural world today and that it is coming to life at a good time. This is a very significant step that we have achieved after multiple efforts together with other factors. This is the first and most important step in resolving the crisis. Commits to continuing the effort to restore the cultural world to routine, ”Trooper said.
Last Thursday, Trooper met with singer Aviv Geffen, the artist's lead artist, as well as with representatives of non-artist industry workers. On the same day, the Israeli artists' "behind-the-scenes" rally was held, which involved thousands of people.
The Habima Theater has announced that it will open its operations only in the large Rubina Hall, which contains approximately 920 venues with four performances beginning June 18.
However, Habima CEO Noam Sgt said that the theater would not open its doors if there was no financial compensation from the Treasury for loss of self-income.
The Israeli players' organization welcomed the outline: "There is no doubt that a new and active spirit is blowing in the Ministry of Culture upon the entry of the new minister. However, without an economic indemnity to the cultural institutions that will ensure the return of workers and artisans to work, this outline will remain a dead letter."
On behalf of the Cultural and Art Institutions Forum in Israel, "Culture Culture is excited and happy to return to the stages and institutions. We thank MK Hailey Trooper for his prompt and effective care and Health Minister Yuli Edelstein for willingness and cooperation to formulate an initial outline for the return of cultural institutions to activity. Cultural and artistic enthusiasts return safely to the halls and museums on the one hand, and have the highest level of artistic activity on the other hand, but it must be borne in mind that along with the formulation of the successful operational outline, the economic outline for assisting the cultural institutions that have been severely damaged by the Corona crisis cannot be completed. ".
The headquarters of the struggle to save the cultural world said in response: "This is the beginning of a return to normalcy, it is encouraging and important but still far from the declarations of opening the industry as it was published tonight. The outline leaves many sectors in the industry that will continue to struggle until it is fully opened, alongside an economic outline that will provide assistance to 150,000 industrial workers have been severely affected in recent months. "
