The number of active Corona patients - less than 6.000 and 38 new infections were diagnosed

The number of active Corona patients in Israel is 5,947 - the lowest number since April 1. This is according to data released by the Health Ministry on Monday. Ninety-nine patients are in serious condition, compared to 94 yesterday, and 70 are respiratory patients, a decrease of six from yesterday.
38 new infections were diagnosed in the last day, up 0.23%, similar to the trend in recent days. For a week in a row, the daily growth rate in the number of people diagnosed does not exceed one percent. Yesterday the lowest number of new diagnoses was recorded in the past month and a half, and only 23 were diagnosed.
In the last day, there was a relatively modest increase in the number of recoverers in previous days, at 3.23%, which is 315 recoverers. So far, 16,246 people have been infected in Israel, of whom 10,064 have recovered. Since yesterday, three Corona patients have died and the death toll stands at 235. The localities with the most new infections in the past three days have been Jerusalem with 30, Hura with 21, Bnei Brak with 13 and Beit Shemesh with eight.
Among other cities where new infections were discovered: Betar Illit with three infections, three infections in Beersheba, three in Herzliya, two in Tel Aviv, two in Bat Yam and one in Haifa.
