The number of known corona patients in Bnei Brak now stands at 1,06

Posted on Apr 3, 2020 by Ifi Reporter - Dan Bielski

The number of known corona patients in Bnei Brak now stands at 1,061, nearly doubling compared to three days ago. The actual number is probably much higher, since the rate of tests done to city residents is relatively lower than the amount of tests that the Ministry of Health wants to know. Yesterday, too, dozens of city residents came to perform corona tests at designated checkout areas. The box office believes that the reasons are some of the residents' concerns that they will be forced to leave the city before Passover, and in some cases even shame.
The 200,000 residents of Bnei Brak, who are in a near-closure state where entrance and exits to the city are blocked, are facing a cruel choice these days: going out to buy food in a limited number of supermarkets that remain open in the city, while at the risk of bullying and harming their health, or staying with food shortages.
The reason: The state has shut down the city, major writers like happiness until it is on the border of Bnei Brak where residents would buy food are out of bounds for residents. There is currently no food supply for homes, except in exceptional cases of high-risk people. Thus, instead of staying in homes to prevent the spread of the epidemic in the city, residents are forced to go out looking for food in a limited number of selling points.
