Israel will pass tonight at 0200 for a summer time

Posted on Mar 26, 2020 by Ifi Reporter

Israel will pass tonight - Thursday through Friday - for a summer time. At 2:00 in the night, the circles will be moved one hour to 3:00. This, after Interior Minister Aryeh Deri's initiative to postpone the May 1 summit in an attempt to reduce civilian stays in the public sphere, will not be implemented due to technological difficulties. Daylight Saving Time will be effective until October 25.
Deri planned to bring the move to government approval with emergency regulations, bypassing the Knesset. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit also announced support during the course. Due to the technological difficulties, Deri contacted Meir Ben Shabbat, the head of the National Security Council, to decide the matter. After Shabbat's recommendation not to change the date, the minister accepted the recommendation.
Mobile phone owners who don't target "auto network time" or users who don't trust the auto-update mechanism can manually update the time on their devices. Even after switching to manual setup, your mobile device can always be reset to date and time automatically.
Android menus vary by model, but most of the time settings are in the general settings menu of the device or within the clock settings. In the Settings menu, click "Date & Time". Automatic date and time should now be turned off. Then select the appropriate time zone - Jerusalem - and manually adjust the time and date.
IPhone owners In the Settings menu, click "General". Select "Date & Time" and deselect "Automatically". Now click on the appropriate time zone and adjust the clock manually.
