Corona panic: IBM Israel will allow its employees to work from home

IBM Israel will allow its employees to work from home, company CEO Daniel Malka informed his employees in a statement issued Tuesday.
In a statement, Malka wrote: "As you know, we are following developments in the virus, and are strictly following IBM's Global Health and Guidelines. In light of the developments, it has been decided that until a new announcement, employees who are concerned about coming to corporate sites and whose job allows for regular work from home can do so subject to For the coordination and approval of their managers. "
Malka went on to write that "we trust you to do your best to keep you healthy and those around you with every job opportunity."
IBM Israel currently employs approximately 2,000 employees in five locations: Petah Tikva, Azrieli Tel Aviv, Givatayim, Beer Sheva and Haifa.
The company joins other Israeli high-tech companies that allow their employees to work from home for fear of being infected in Corona.
