Ami Arel, chairman of Cellcom's board of directors in recent years, has resigned. Arel's term is ending these days and it will not be extended. In a letter to employees and IDB heads, Arel said he plans to head in the direction of the Agrotech Avi Gabay as CEO. It is estimated that IDB chief executive Sha'ar Sa'ar will replace him in the role.
Ami Arel chaired Cellcom's board of directors from the time he served as CEO of Discount Investments.
