Ford appointed Boaz Hartel as the Technical Director of the Ford Research Center in Israel

Ford announced the appointment of Boaz Hartel as the Technical Director of the Ford Research Center in Israel, and to lead the Center's advanced innovations in mobility, automated systems research, automotive space monitoring and cyber security.
The Ford Research Center was inaugurated by Company Chairman Bill Ford, who visited Israel in June 2019, and plays a crucial role in smart and advanced mobile technologies and serves as a research home, supporting the company's advanced engineering development teams in the world.
Boaz Hartel, Col. Miles. Ended his service in 2018, after 28 years in the IAF, and in his most recent role was Head of Intelligence at the IAF's Operational Headquarters. Ford in the engineering and innovation divisions, with the goal of moving forward the company's research and engineering efforts.
"Ford considers Israel one of the world's leading innovation centers, especially in the auto tech and mobility industries," said Jim Bozkowski, director and head of the Electronic and Electrical Systems, Research and Advanced Engineering department at Ford. "Our team meets regularly with hundreds of start-ups. Open in Israel, with the goal of locating innovative growth technologies and integrating them into Ford's testing, development and implementation processes in its centers in the US, Europe and China.

Has extensive knowledge in implementing and implementing technologies, in many areas including sensors, IT systems, image processing, artificial intelligence, DATA and cyber. During his military career, Hartel promoted innovation and entrepreneurship in complex systems through collaborations between the Air Force, the intelligence community and IT companies. As mentioned in August 2018, Hartel was appointed as an expert and advisor on the company's Scouting (Detection) team in Israel. Hartel, who has a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree in business management, high-tech entrepreneurship, from Ben-Gurion University.
The Israeli Center is located in the C360 Challenge Building in Tel Aviv, forming part of a global network of Ford development centers in Germany, China and the US. 2016.
SAIPS continues to operate from Israel as part of the AV (Autonomous Vehicles) program. In addition, the Center collaborates with Ford's importer of Israel "Delek Motors" on a variety of topics.
