A slight earthquake was felt before 7:00 am in many areas of Israel. At the Geophysical Institute, we updated that the magnitude of the quake was 3.8 degrees and the focus was at sea in the Haifa area. According to the institutes in the United States and the European Union - the intensity of the quake 4.0 degrees. The focal point at 10 km is 25 km west of Atlit. The quake was well felt in Haifa, Acre, Krayot and in the Sharon area and the Jerusalem area.
Police in a coastal district said that after the earthquake, about 200 inquiries reached 100. This is the second tremor felt in Israel in the last two weeks. On January 24, a well-felt Turkey earthquake occurred in the country.
, Residents of Krayot said, "We live on the second floor and we felt a shake lasting 5-4 seconds. It was quite stressful, but there were no damages and things didn't fall as well.
Another said, "I live in Carmel. All the cabinets have been opened and I woke up."
As mentioned, the quake was also felt in more remote areas. The quake was felt even in the Neve Tzedek neighborhood of Tel Aviv in the ninth floor building. Reports of the quake also came from Nazareth, Yokneam and Pardes Hanna-Karkur.
