Dutch Minister for Foreign Trade and Cooperation accompanied by a business delegation came to Israel

 On Monday, the Dutch Minister for Foreign Trade and Cooperation, Ms. Sigrid Kach, came to visit the country, accompanied by a large business delegation, with senior Dutch companies such as Philips, to recognize the innovative Israeli industry and the use of advanced technologies, and to promote co-operation Existing Circular Economy Action. During the visit there was a meeting on the circular economy of the business delegation and about 50 Israeli companies.
As part of promoting the circular economy in Israel, the Ministry of Economy sees significant value in learning from countries with significant activity in such areas as the Netherlands and Finland. These countries, for their part, want to create business collaborations with Israeli companies to harness Israeli innovation to address the technological challenges of the circular economy and exploit business opportunities that will only expand according to global environmental agendas. As part of the collaboration between the Netherlands and Israel, a business delegation of 12 Dutch companies led by the Foreign Minister of Foreign Affairs and the development of Dutch cooperation, Ms. Sigrid Kach, arrived. The companies come from diverse areas of waste management, recycling, academia, architecture, infrastructure, food, agriculture and consulting companies specializing in the field.
The meeting is part of the Industry Administration's efforts and initiatives to promote a national program for a circular economy in industry in collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment, the Association of Manufacturers, the Israeli Green Building Council, the Innovation Authority and many other bodies, which aims to drive the industry towards more efficient use of resources and the treatment of environmental problems. Already in the early stages of design, design and production, thus making environmental demands an opportunity rather than a burden on industry. The program focuses on the construction and infrastructure sectors, the packaging and chemistry and pharma sectors, along with transversal areas such as supporting innovation, recycling and raising industry awareness of the economic and environmental benefits of a circular economy. At the same time, the program also works for regulatory improvement so that it will enable the existence of circular projects.
This is a breakthrough program for Israeli industry, which aligns with global trends, with an emphasis on the EU, which sees the circular economy as the biggest growth potential for the industry in the coming decades. At the same time, circular economy.
