Posted on Jan 22, 2020 by Ifi Reporter
In the first month of operating the full train service between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, nearly 400,000 passengers traveled on the highway, a 76 percent increase over the previous month, requiring the replacement of trains at Ben Gurion Airport. This compares with 224,000 passengers in the month prior to the commencement of the service, which required the replacement of Ben Gurion Airport.
Every day, 60 trains operate in both directions, departing at a frequency of half an hour each, in each direction, with a stop in Ben Gurion Airport. The travel time from Jerusalem is 32 minutes, and Tel Aviv is 34 minutes.
