The pilot committee handled the new requirement with the airport authority, and the conclusion reached was that the pilots would have to undergo inspection like everyone else, but not really: the pilots would not have to queue with the other passengers. Their check-in will be done at the Arbel Lounge, the VIP lounge operated by the PA and designated by highly respected guests, or anyone who can pay for its services. The new regulations were already scheduled to go into effect, but the Pilots Committee asked for more time to be organized, so they will only take effect in early March
