Israeli marketing company Tremor has agreed to acquire the video company Unruly from News Corp

Posted on Jan 6, 2020 by Ifi Reporter - Dan Bielski

Israeli marketing company Tremor International has announced that it has agreed to acquire the video company Unruly from News Corp. in an attempt to thwart its video services by logging in to the huge customer network of the company owned by telecommunication tycoon Rupert Murdoch.
The London-listed company said that as part of the deal, it would transfer about 6.1% of its voting shares to News Corp, the owner of the Wall Street Journal (The Wall Street Journal) and the Times (The Times).
As more and more people move to get online services, advertising money is also shifting to digital platforms like Facebook and Google, making the video advertising business prestigious. News Corp. has been bending for an 18-month lockout period and both parties have agreed to spend £ 30 million in advertising for three years.
Founded in 2006 and operating in London, Eneroli has 1.2 billion monthly views in its commercials. The company also operates an information analytics unit that researches trends in advertising that focus on emotional impact on consumers. Except for the transaction costs, Israeli Tremor expects Enrololi to reach a balanced financial position even in the current fiscal year. News Corp. bought Eneroli in 2015 for 58 million pounds in cash.
