collective agreement signed for hundreds of El-Op workers from the Elbit Group

The Histadrut, the El-op management and the company's employees signed a collective agreement to apply to about 660 workers and factory workers in the streets. The five-year agreement will apply to engineers, engineers, technicians and production workers at the El-Op plant, which supplies products for the defense industry and specializes in electro-optics.
The agreement includes, among other things, a fixed salary increase of 1.83%, plus a differential salary, the rate of not less than 1.5% in three years, and a safety net that includes increased compensation and early retirement. In addition, according to the agreement, the period will be extended to receive seniority up to 40 years of seniority in the company. In addition, premium components that have been distributed so far departmentally will be added to the employees' basic salary.
For the first time, the agreement will also apply to a hundred additional employees, some of them new employees and most of them employees who have so far been employed in personal contracts.
The negotiations were led by industrial workers Gabi Asraf; chairman of the Histadrut, Rehovot, Oded Amram, national divisional secretary of the Industrial Workers Federation, Adv. Dvir Yaakov, national divisional secretary Jacob Cohen, Adv. Nofer Perry Cohen; Attorney Ra'anan Shakedi, Advocate for Industry Association; Omri Singer of the Economics Division; Yaniv Weiss of the Pension Division and Chairman of the Committee Arieh Somer.
Chairman of the Industrial Workers' Association Gabi Asraf, said: "At a good time, after negotiations concluded over a year ago, a collective agreement was signed for Elbit Electro-Optics Systems employees. The agreement guarantees fair wage increases for employees and job security alongside the need for the plant's march to the technology summit. "

Chairman of the Histadrut Histadrut, Oded Amram, said: "I welcome the signing of the agreement that provides financial and employment security to Elbit Electro-Optics Systems employees. I would like to thank everyone who has helped and brought about the successful conclusion of the negotiations. We will continue to work towards strengthening the space workers. "
