Brown hotels, in partnership with the Aman Group, have won a tender for the establishment of a hotel at Ben Gurion Airport. The hotel will be built adjacent to Terminal 3 at Ben Gurion Airport and will provide service for passengers, businessmen and airline staff.
According to the plan, the hotel will build the DBOT method where the developers will design the hotel, build it and also operate it, including check-in services and transfer of passengers from the hotel to the terminal. The hotel will be built on 7.5 acres adjacent to the western building at the terminal and close to the train station and is expected to include around 200 designed hotel rooms, a conference center, gym and spa facilities, as well as a restaurant and cocktail bar.
The developers will invest in the hotel's design, construction and operation for a period of 25 years. The PA will grant entrepreneurs a NIS 40 million reimbursement grant and will also receive a government grant that airports are considered a preferred hotel location.
Yoram Shapira, VP of Commerce and Business Development, noted that "Many airports in the world are an acceptable service to travelers, businessmen, airlines and tourism groups. This service is part of the additional services of international airports. The construction of a hotel in Ben Gurion Airport will take Ben Gurion Airport into line with one of the world's leading airports for which there is a passenger service hotel. "
Ben Pasternak, CEO and owner of an artist group, said: "The group invests in yielding real estate all over the world and it is natural that we want to deepen our hold on the local market. We were looking for a quality but young and creative hotel brand to create a unique business hotel, so we connected with a group of Brown hotels. ''
Brown hotels said that winning the tender is a vote of confidence in the company's fortunes. Brown runs the spa at El King's King David Lounge and we're excited to deepen the connection to the aviation world. "
