Posted on Nov 5, 2019 by Ifi Reporter

Techstars, a global network for accelerating startups, has announced the launch of "Techtars Tel Aviv" - a technology accelerator to operate from Israel. Techstars will open its first cycle in March 2020. Under the 3-month Acceleration Program, entrepreneurs will benefit from practical mentoring through Israeli and international experts, as well as access to Techstars global network and relationships with overseas businesses, and international companies. In addition, each of the companies participating in the program will receive an investment of up to $ 120,000.
The program is open to companies dealing with a variety of technological areas, including artificial intelligence, retail, mobility, cyber, fintech, podtech and more. Startups looking to accelerate their business in Tel Aviv and establish international connections through the extensive network of Textars are invited to apply for the program.
The Teleteers TA program will be managed by Hila Avil-Brenner - a serial entrepreneur who founded three companies herself and managed the joint program of Barclays and Techstars in Israel.
"In the two years that I head for Techstars, I have witnessed the magic that comes from Textars' global network, which includes corporations, investors and mentors," said Avilev-Brenner. "Now, after four years of operations in Israel, Techstars has decided to launch an independent new accelerator to operate in Tel Aviv. Certainly, this indicates confidence in the Israeli market and a great deal of interest from Texars in Israeli technologies. Combining the strengths of so many people with the goal of helping young companies at every step of their entrepreneurial journey is inspiring. Launching Techstars Tel Aviv will strengthen the support given to entrepreneurship at the heart of the startup nation and lead to other amazing success stories.
Applications to join the program can now be submitted by December 8, 2019.
Startups interested in more information about the program are welcome to contact Techstars or log on to techstars.com/programs/tel-aviv-program for more information.
Techstars is a global network that helps entrepreneurs succeed. The founders of Techstars and their team connect with entrepreneurs, experts, mentors, academics, investors, business leaders and corporate partners to help their companies grow.
