corruption: The arrest of Kiryat Ata Mayor Yaakov Peretz was extended for 4 days

On Monday evening, the 11 suspects arrested in the new corruption case were brought to the Rishon Lezion Magistrate's Court for their open investigation.
The arrest of Kiryat Ata Mayor Yaakov Peretz was extended for four days. He is suspected of receiving bribes, conspiracy to commit a crime, breach of trust, money laundering and more. Defense Attorney Adi Carmeli revealed in the hearing that as part of his interrogation today in Blade 433, he suspected that the bribe he had received was expressed by being promised to extend his term by another, noting a surprising name: Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Leon. - according to which he tried to extend his term as head of the commission by calling on interested parties to ask Moshe Leon to work with Interior Minister Aryeh Deri to extend his term - does not make sense, since he was appointed only a year ago and his term ends only in 2023 and because he has a direct line The minister does not need Leon to mediate.
Kogman, the prime suspect in the case, has been linked to most other suspects arrested. The arrest of Kogman, a contractor and businessman suspected of bribing, mediating bribes, conspiracy to commit a crime, fraudulently receiving and money laundering offenses was extended by seven days.
Altogether, the arrest of 11 suspects was extended to the court, with the rest of the suspects being extended from 3 to 4 days.
 Among other things, the affair investigates projects and tenders of Nativ Israel and Yefe Nof in Haifa.
