Posted on Oct 25, 2019 by Ifi Reporter

About 150 driving examers employed by Taldor were incorporated in the Histadrut after more than half of the employees employed at 23 practical driving test centers signed the application forms. When Taldor's driving examers will be incooperated, about 800,000 workers in the economy are represented by the Histadrut.Taldor won the Ministry of Transport's tender for the establishment and operation of the set of practical tests required to obtain a driver's license.
The association of workers in Taldor began with the desire of driving examiners and site operators to regulate in their first collective agreement their occupational safety and conditions of employment. A letter regarding the workers' union was sent by the Histadrut to the CEO of Taldor Nati Avrahami, in which the CEO and the company's management are called to coordinate a meeting between the parties and enter into a discussion and negotiation process.
The action committee said: "We are proud to exercise our right and establish a committee that represents and welcomes the responsiveness and support we have received from all employees. We hope that we will be able to establish a fruitful and good working relationship between the employee representative and the management of the company, in order to formulate a collective agreement that guarantees our rights."
