El Al flight 008 from JFK to Tel Aviv was postponed 48 hours due to malfunction on the Dreamliner

Passengers on El Al flight 008 from JFK Airport who were due to return to Israel on Sunday before the holiday will be forced to change their plans and spend it in New York. The reason: A malfunction of the company's Boeing Dreamliner 787 aircraft.
Aircraft passengers will take off for Israel tomorrow evening and are expected to land late Tuesday at noon which will be 48 hours from the original landing date. The malfunction happened after the passengers had already sat on the plane and were waiting to take off, but they were cleared in a place that could not be taken off.
El Al said in response: "Due to a technical malfunction in loading the trunk, the 008 flight from New York to Israel could not be performed as planned. All passengers were treated by El Al representatives and transferred to hotels. The flight will take off tomorrow holiday. Cozy and wish everyone a happy holiday. "
