The Ministry of Transport and the Ayalon route company have published the tender for the work under the third section of the "Highways" project.
This is a NIS 450 million tender, which will include a 9 km travel route on Ayalon lanes: In Ayalon North in the section of the road from the JNF interchange to the Seven Star interchange a 4.5 km long lane will be added, and in Ayalon South a lane will be added from the seven star interchange to To a 4.5 km JNF interchange.
The works in the third section of the project include the addition of highways along Ayalon North and South. As part of the works, another route will be paved from the KKL-JNF interchange to the seven-star interchange in both directions, and two bridges will be built directly connecting the highway on Route 20 to the highway on Route 5.
This is a third of four, with work on the first section beginning in July this year and work on the second section starting in the coming months.
The highway project includes the construction of about 75 km of highways in the center of the country, along Ayalon, Road 5 and the coastal road. This is a route that will be added to existing routes today.
