Foreign exchange reserves amounted to $ 119,473 million at Sep 2019

Foreign exchange reserves amounted to $ 119,473 million at the end of September 2019, a decrease of $ 339 million from the end of the previous month. The balances account for 31.8 percent of gross domestic product (Figure 1).
The decrease is explained by:
Government transfers abroad amounting to $ 210 million.
Revaluation of foreign currency balances of $ 151 million.
On the other hand, the decrease was partly offset by private sector transfers of about $ 22 million.
