Sapiens concludes a successful quarter in which revenue improved by 9.6%

Posted on Aug 5, 2019 by Ifi Reporter - Dan Bielski

The software company Sapiens concludes a successful quarter in which revenue improved by 9.6% and net profit jumped by 49.5% over the same quarter in 2018.
Sapiens revenues in the second quarter totaled $ 79.5 million, up 9.6% and slightly higher than analysts' expectations. The company's operating profit increased by 31.4% to $ 12.6 million.
Ronnie Al-Dor, president and CEO of Sapiens: "Sapiens is committed to the top priority for 2019, to grow and improve profitability. In the second quarter of this year we achieved these two goals. On a non-GAAP basis, revenue rose 9.6% and operating profit improved by 260 basis points. The improvement in growth and profitability in the quarter is directly related to achieving the main goals we set for ourselves: win new customers, cross-sell to existing customers, leverage our off-shore capabilities, and increase revenue based on our efficient cost structure. "
