A study conducted by CBRE Israel on the momentum of the CO-Working complexes in Israel, especially in the Tel Aviv area, states that 70% of the workers in the CO-WORKING compounds in the Tel Aviv area are employees of a high-tech company, a start-up and computers and technology.
The Tel Aviv area currently has some 250,000 square meters of office space and during the second half of 2019, more than 60,000 square meters of CO-working areas will be opened in the Tel Aviv and central region.
Jackie Mukmel, CEO of CBRE, notes that for the first time in the first half of 2019, rents for offices in Tel Aviv exceeded NIS 100 per square meter per month, despite the momentum of erecting new office towers with a total area of 700,000 sq.m.
Mukmel also notes that an examination conducted by CBRE Israel states that Tel Aviv is in 25th place in the world's largest cities with high rents for offices.
