The investigation against Netanya Municipality Mayor Miriam Feirberg was closed

The investigation against Netanya Municipality Mayor Miriam Feirberg was closed. The State Attorney's Office informed the deputy mayor of the municipality, Shimon Sher, that she is considering bringing him to trial, subject to a hearing, for bribery, fraud and breach of trust.
"Following a series of discussions on evidence and their significance, which took place with the participation of the State Prosecutor's Office and the Police, in which the findings of the investigation were examined in the matter of the City Hall, the State Attorney decided to adopt the position of the Deputy State Attorney (criminal matters) and the position of the Economic Department, The evidence that has been formulated is not sufficient to lead to the filing of an indictment on suspicions that were examined, "the State Attorney's Office said in a statement.
