Gold Mall Unveils New “Platinum Floor” in $100 Million Retail Expansion

Gold Mall has announced the launch of a new retail level, dubbed the “Platinum Floor,” as part of a major expansion project valued at approximately 100 million shekels. The new floor is scheduled to open in June and is expected to significantly expand the mall’s retail footprint and strengthen its position as one of Israel’s leading shopping destinations.

One of the main highlights of the new development is a 400-square-meter flagship store of Adidas.

In addition, several new retail chains will be introduced to the mall for the first time, including Itay Brands, Minna, Shoofra, Parfoa, Factory Candles, Flying Tiger Copenhagen, Soho, Happy Lemon, and Tzaznis.

Additional international brands are expected to be announced in the coming weeks as part of the continued leasing rollout.

EXPANDED RETAIL EXPERIENCE

The Platinum Floor will span approximately 12,000 square meters and include:

  • Around 30 flagship international stores
  • Large-format retail concepts
  • A 1,800-square-meter curated kiosk area featuring 12 designed vendor spaces

Developers say the project is designed to create a modern shopping environment combining retail, design, and experiential consumer engagement.

A key architectural feature of the new level is a 35-meter-high ceiling, designed to enhance natural light and create an open, spacious atmosphere throughout the floor.

The layout emphasizes wide open spaces, improved customer flow, and an upgraded shopping experience tailored to families and younger consumer audiences.

PART OF GLOBAL RETAIL SHIFT

Mall executives said the expansion reflects a broader global trend toward experiential retail, where shopping centers integrate design, technology, and lifestyle experiences alongside traditional commerce.

The investment also comes amid strong demand from leading brands for premium retail space within high-traffic commercial centers.

According to management, strong leasing demand and rising rental levels underscore the attractiveness of the new floor for both local and international retailers.

STRATEGIC POSITIONING

The new development is intended to reinforce Gold Mall’s position as a national retail hub while adapting to shifting consumer behavior in the modern retail landscape.

By combining flagship stores, international brands, and curated experiential spaces, the Platinum Floor aims to set a new benchmark for large-scale shopping environments in Israel.
