Hadas Water, one of Israel’s leading companies in the development and production of purified water bars, has introduced a new under-sink system that dispenses both hot and cold purified water and includes a unique mechanism designed for use on Shabbat.
According to the company, the system is the first of its kind in Israel and was specifically developed for religious and traditional consumers who observe Shabbat restrictions on the use of electrical devices.
The system has received approval from the Badatz Chief Rabbinate, which certifies products that comply with Jewish religious law.
Hot and Cold Water Technology
The new under-sink system provides purified cold water at 4 degrees Celsius and hot water up to 96 degrees Celsius.
The system's integrated mechanism enables Shabbat-compatible operation, allowing observant users to access water without violating religious prohibitions on electricity.
$500,000 Investment in Development
Udi Simeni, CEO of Hadas Water, said the company invested approximately $500,000 in the development of the new system.
“The company invested significant resources in developing an under-sink system tailored specifically for the needs of the religious public,” Simeni said.
Additional Shabbat-Friendly Water Bar
In addition to the new system, Hadas Water offers the Spirit Plus water bar, a device designed for Shabbat-observant households.
The system combines automatic technological functions for weekday use with a mechanical solution that allows it to operate in accordance with Shabbat requirements.
Advanced Filtration Technology
Hadas Water said its filtration solutions are tailored to local water quality conditions at the customer’s location.
The Spirit Plus system includes a water filtration mechanism capable of filtering particles down to 1 micron. In areas where water contains high levels of scale, the company provides specialized filtration solutions designed to fully address the issue.
