Posted on Jan 30, 2026 by Ifi Reporter - Dan Bielski

Hadas Water Co., one of Israel’s largest companies in the purified water bar market for the general public, Sabbath-observing consumers, and institutions, continues to position itself as a leader in design innovation and advanced water filtration solutions.
Founded in 2003 by businessman Udi Simeni, Hadas Water has sold approximately 160,000 purified water bars in Israel to date and currently employs around 100 people. The company markets a wide range of water bars through leading electrical retail chains, including A.L.M., Machsanei Electric, Shekem Electric, King Store, KSP, and Duty Free outlets, as well as directly through its customer service center and website.
Hadas Water reshaped the local market
About five years ago, Hadas Water reshaped the local market with the launch of the “Spirit Plus” water bar, developed specifically for Sabbath-observing users. The product combines automatic operation on weekdays with a mechanical operating mechanism for Shabbat and Jewish holidays. The solution has received approval from Mehadrin certification bodies and the Technological Institute for Halacha. The compact and smartly designed system allows full use without electricity on Shabbat.
Hadas Water tailors its filtration solutions to local water quality conditions. The Spirit Plus bar features a meticulous filtration system with a filtration level of 1 micron, while in areas with high scale levels the company provides dedicated solutions designed to fully address scale buildup.
In addition, the company markets the Lotus UV water bar, a compact and stylish system featuring a touchscreen interface and dual UV LED filtration technology in both the water tank and the dispensing spout. The product incorporates patented technology and does not require replacement of a UV lamp, distinguishing it from other products on the market.
Hadas Water also offers the Hadas Tap, an under-sink purification system manufactured in Taiwan, featuring large four-liter water tanks. According to the company, its product range spans from affordable, entry-level water bars to high-end, design-focused models, allowing solutions to be tailored to different customer needs and budgets.
Looking ahead to 2026, the company plans to launch a soda water bar, an under-sink system for dispensing hot and cold purified water with a dedicated Shabbat mechanism, and a new water bar designed specifically for the Chinese market.
Udi Simeni, founder and CEO of Hadas Water, said the company’s vision is to make the water bar sector accessible to all consumers at affordable prices, while continuing to develop forward-thinking and innovative products.
