In a significant development, the Chief of Staff, Major General Hertzi Halevi, has taken decisive action by initiating a comprehensive investigation into the events of October 7 and the broader Gaza conflict. The investigative team, led by former Defense Minister Colonel (ret.) Shaul Mofaz, is set to delve into the intricacies of the ground maneuver preparations and the intense fighting within the Gaza Strip.
The team comprises key figures, including the experienced generals Yoav Har Even, Chief Executive Officer of the Rafael Company, the former head of the National Security Agency Aharon Zavi-Prakash, and the former Southern Command General Shalom (Sami) Turgeman. This formidable team is expected to shed light on the events surrounding October 7 and the subsequent military operations in Gaza.
