In a message delivered on his behalf after midnight, Prime Minister Netanyahu reassured the public, stating, "I feel great." However, the procedure is considered significant, and he will be going through it in obscurity.

As a precautionary measure during his medical absence, the ministers held an urgent night vote to appoint Minister Yariv Levin as the temporary replacement for the Prime Minister until the completion of the procedure. The procedure to implant the pacemaker will be conducted by Prof. Roi Beinert, the director of the Davidei Center for Arrhythmias and Pacemakers, along with Prof. Eyal Nof, the director of the invasive electrophysiology service at Sheba Hospital.
