The average wage for a salaried position in Israel reached a new record of NIS 13,683 in March

The published data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) shows that the average wage for a salaried position in Israel reached a new record of NIS 13,683 in March of this year, a significant increase of 8% compared to March 2022. ) increased relative to March last year and stood at NIS 11,879. However, according to the CBS estimate for the month of April, the salary of Israeli workers in April of this year reached NIS 12,669, an increase of 5.1% compared to April 2022, approximately the same as the annual inflation rate in Israel. The average salary for a salaried position for all employees reached only NIS 12,258 , when the increase compared to the salary in April 2022, which was NIS 11,701, amounted to only 4.8%.
