The technology giant Matrix announced the acquisition of 70% of the control of the company 'Zebra Technologies' (Zebra AGR Technologies Ltd.) which specializes in providing innovative solutions in the fields of information security and data communication, and has revenues of approximately a quarter of a billion NIS per year. Zebra employees and managers will join the ranks of Matrix, and will continue to operate as an independent unit under the company's current management. Matrix acquires Zebra Technologies at a value of NIS 65 million.
'Zebra Technologies' was founded in 2008 by the current CEO - Eli Vodinsky, and its main activity is in the distribution of solutions in the fields of data communication, cyber protection, hardware, software and services. Zebra distributes products of about 20 international manufacturers, which it represents in Israel, Among the most prominent are: Juniper Networks, TrendMicro, PaloAlto, PulseSecure, ForcePoint, Imperva RSA, Forescout, Gigamon, Tenable, Vasco, F5 and Cato. Zebra's customers are mainly resellers who work extensively with many and varied manufacturers.
This acquisition significantly strengthens Matrix's capabilities in the field of distributing technology solutions, with expansion to new products and a wider customer base; Through the current acquisition, Matrix further increases its presence in the information security and infrastructure industry, and in fact creates greater added value for its customers with a more comprehensive service portfolio.
This purchase joins more than a hundred mergers and acquisitions that Matrix has carried out to date, the most recent of which, carried out last summer, was the purchase of 100% of the Israeli company Redt (RDT) - a leading provider of solutions and systems for a wide range of technologies.
