Yes satellite company is launching fiber internet packages that include home internet plus TV services. The company promises an installation from today to tomorrow, but it should be noted that the installation is paid and that the prices do not constitute a significant line in the internet package market.
The company offers two packages at launch prices, which will increase within a year of installation. The package that includes Sting TV's content services together with FIBER Internet at a speed of 300 megabytes will cost NIS 185 per month in the first year and NIS 199 per month thereafter. The same package with internet speed of 1,000 megabytes will cost NIS 195 per month in the first year and NIS 209 per month in subsequent years. In addition, the package will provide three months of Disney Plus and Discovery+ gift and one month of Netflix gift. The price includes a converter.
Another package includes yes's content services as well as the FIBER internet package. Internet with a speed of 300 megabytes will cost NIS 265 per month in the first year and NIS 299 thereafter. Internet with a speed of 1,000 megabytes will be priced at 275 shekels per month in the first year and later the price will rise to 309 shekels. The price also includes the waiting months of Disney Plus, Discovery+ and Netflix, as well as 2 Android converters at no extra charge.
Yes offer installation from today to tomorrow and any malfunction will be answered by Yes representatives only. The installation price is NIS 199 for apartments and NIS 399 for private houses. The fiber connection will be made through a yesFIBER router, which supports WIFI6 technology, which should allow users a high-quality surfing experience, as well as optimal viewing of streaming and 4K transmission technology, an improved gaming experience and the possibility of connecting up to 128 devices simultaneously. The price of the router will cost only 19.90 per month.
This is a new service, but in terms of price, Yes does not manage to be a real competition to the other companies in the market that offer similar packages, at the same or lower prices. For example, at Partner, a package with an internet speed of 1,000 megabytes will cost you NIS 189 a month, with Netflix NIS 225 a month, without installation fees.
Ilan Siegel, CEO of yes, said at the launch of the new service: "Today we are reopening the television and internet market with yes's strategic and unique collaborations with the streaming giants, along with strong and powerful fiber internet and the upgrade of the excellent service in one place, we will offer the perfect viewing and browsing experience ".
