Vee has fired half of its employees as part of the second round of layoffs

The Vee company, which develops a platform for managing social action in organizations, has fired half of its employees as part of the second round of layoffs. Now only 17 employees will remain in the company.
The company was founded in 2020 by 22-year-old entrepreneur May Piamante (CEO), Gil Amsalem (CTO) and Avi Amor (COO). Last February, the company raised $12 million, and in total the company raised $13.5 million.
The company's platform connects companies and teams that want to contribute to the community to non-profit organizations that need assistance around the world. The platform offers a wide marketplace of volunteering opportunities, such as food distribution, youth mentoring, environmental initiatives, animal welfare and more. In addition, the system allows for smart and interactive management of the volunteering process in the organization.
