The District Court in Tel Aviv issued a temporary freeze of proceedings for the food chain "Ad Ha'Om Express". The chain, controlled by Ezra Shemesh, Yossi Bachar and Efi Shemesh, today has nine branches and employs 200 people.
According to the request to freeze proceedings, the chain has accumulated debts of approximately NIS 18 million, among others to suppliers and service providers.
The request for the freeze was submitted by the companies "Ad Ha'Om" and "Ad Ha'Om Express" that own and operate the chain. This is so that proceedings will not be opened against them during the period when they will try to formulate a recovery and rehabilitation arrangement. The companies are represented by attorney Shalom Goldblatt from the Goldblatt Ginds Yariv office.
The "To the bone" chain was established in 2013 according to the model of an American-style fast food chain, based on a limited menu and quality meat. The application describes the procedure that led to the accumulation of debts, mainly due to the corona epidemic that broke out in 2020.
