According to the data of the Central Bureau of Statistics, the export of goods from Israel (excluding diamonds) amounted to NIS 16.0 billion in total. Of the total exports of goods, exports to European countries accounted for 35%, exports to American countries 33%, exports to Asian countries 22% and the remaining 10% to the rest of the world.
The import of goods (excluding diamonds) amounted to NIS 25.3 billion. 46% of the imports were from European countries, 27% from Asian countries, 12% from American countries, and the remaining 15% from the rest of the world. The commercial deficit in trade in goods (excluding diamonds) amounted to NIS 9.3 billion. The trend data for the months of July - September 2022 showed a 21.0% decrease in the export of goods to Asian countries alongside an 11.7% increase in the import of goods from the USA.
It was also published in the Central Bureau of Statistics that the total export of services (not including the start-up companies) in August decreased by 1.8% compared to the previous month. The export of services of the hi-tech industries (not including the start-up companies) decreased by 2.6% compared to the previous month.
