Posted on Sep 26, 2022 by Ifi Reporter - Dan Bielski

Following the publication of the new police procedure that in all incidents of theft from private homes, a police car will no longer be sent except in exceptional cases, there is an increase in demand for renting safes in secure safe complexes.
Under the heading "Reducing the handling of theft incidents", it was stated that in the operations and policing department "staff work was carried out, the purpose of which was to streamline the handling of incidents, thereby reducing the incident load of patrol vehicles".
Attorney Dvir Indig, CEO of Brixton Co.'s safe complexes: "Following the new police procedure in the last two weeks, there has been a 25% increase in the rental of safes, and in the Jerusalem area there has been an increase of over 32% in the rental of safes to keep personal belongings, jewelry, money, etc. ...
Indig also points out: "Most of the safe rentals in recent days are from private homeowners who in their apartment insurance policy have an option to include a safe in a private safe complex in their apartment insurance policy."
Brixton Ltd. has 2 secure safe deposit boxes in Tel-Aviv and Jerusalem which include a total of approximately 6,000 safes.
According to the CBS, about 5% of households experience a burglary every year.

"Brixton" Co. is currently running a special promotion as part of the launch of the new private safe deposit box complex in Jerusalem. Anyone who rents a safe deposit box for 3 years will receive free rent for the safe deposit box for the fourth year. The value of the benefit is about NIS 2000.
Dvir Indig CEO of Brixton Co.: "These days the company is conducting negotiations to open a third safe complex which will be automatic without human contact with an investment of about NIS 5 million"
