Gilat won a contract estimated at 20 million dollars from SES

The Gilat company, which develops products and services for satellite communication networks, continues to expand its cooperation with the satellite giant SES.
The company, which is managed by Adi Tzapadia, won a contract estimated at 20 million dollars from SES to supply the SkyEdge 4 system to SES antenna farms (gateways) around the world. The current contract increases Gilat's revenue from its collaboration with SES to $80 million.
The system of Gilat (-0.57% 2078) was selected by SES for the MEO satellite groups (satellites at an altitude of 2,000 to 36 thousand km) of the second generation of SES and for the SES-17 satellite in GEO orbit (a circular orbit around the Earth above the equator at an altitude of 36 thousand km above a fixed point on the earth's surface) at a very high output.
The collaboration between Gilat and SES increases their presence in areas such as Internet connection for marine transport vehicles, cellular transmission and fixed data communication.
