investment fund Fortissimo acquires C.T.S for NIS 150 million

The private investment fund Fortissimo signed an agreement to purchase the ownership in C.T.S for NIS 150 million. The purchase of C.T.S follows a previous attempt by Fortissimo to purchase the pharmaceutical company Rafa, the control of which was acquired by the Fimi Foundation in January 2021 at a company value of NIS 700 million. The acquired company was founded by A.Z Cohen in the twenties of the last century and is controlled by Meir Cohen who is the chairman of the company.
C.T.S has 3 business divisions: the health division which specializes in the production, marketing and distribution of medicines, nutritional supplements, medical equipment and dental health; Agrika Division which specializes in production, marketing and providing solutions for farmers in the field of plant and seed protection; and the Animal Ker division, which provides solutions in the field of veterinary medicine, including the production and import of food products for animals, care and health products.
C.T.S managed by Siegel First, which also serves as CEO of the pharmaceutical division, provides prescription drugs, over-the-counter drugs and medical preparations. K.T. markets drugs of international companies including Japan's Takeda, GSK, VIFOR and IBSA The company also developed feminine hygiene products marketed under the Pamina brand and skin care products in the Lactophil series.
