The Livnat family sells 49% of the MedOne server farm company, at a value of about NIS 1.5 billion. The amount derives a consideration of NIS 730 million from the sale. The buyers are the American investment company Berkshire Partners (unrelated to Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway), which will receive the bulk of the share sold, and the van Rooyen group of entrepreneur Grant Van Royne, which operates in the field of server farms. MedOne did not specify exact numbers regarding the holdings of each of the new partners.
MedOne, established in 1997, owns four sites with an area of 25,000 square meters - one in Tel Aviv, one in Petah Tikva and two in Tirat Carmel.
