A new president of the Israeli public's spending on credit cards, according to data from an automated bank service company published. During March, credit card expenses in the total amount of NIS 37.286 billion were recorded in the systems of an automated bank services company. This figure is 5.5% higher than the total expenditure in March 2021, which amounted to NIS 35.341 billion.
The volume of expenses of March 2022 was 17.3% higher than the total expenses of February 2022. In a monthly calculation, March 2022 surpassed the previous monthly expenditure record, in August 2021, by NIS 370 million.
The average daily expenditure in March 2022 was NIS 1.203 billion, a figure lower than 0.02% from the highest daily expenditure recorded in November 2021 and stood at NIS 1.205 billion.
