Russian-Israeli billionaire Roman Abramovich continues his attempts to evade sanctions imposed on Russian oligarchs over Russia's invasion of Ukraine. After it was reported in England that Abramovich had transferred the giant yacht he owned, tonight (Sunday) the billionaire's plane landed in Israel.
The plane, LX-RAY, registered in Luxembourg, a $ 65 million Gulf Stream G650, landed in Israel after a five-and-a-half-hour flight from Moscow. Abramovich's plane carried 8 and a half tons of jet fuel, which cost a little over $ 15,000. And what about the plane's carbon emissions? They are not less than 30 tons.
Earlier it was reported in England that Abramovich had transferred the huge yacht he owned, which is no less than 139 meters long, from Barcelona to Montenegro, which is not included in the EU and therefore no sanctions will be imposed on the property in the country.
Abramovich is receiving sanctions from all sides that hurt all his business and with an emphasis on the English football team he owns, Chelsea, which he put up for sale, with its future at this stage in the fog regarding the opening of next season, with the club closed until the end of the season. No less than £ 28 million in salaries should be paid to players and staff.
