Corona: There has been a halt in the decline in morbidity

Posted on Mar 13, 2022 by Ifi Reporter - Dan Bielski

After two weeks of a decline in corona data, in recent days there has been a halt in the decline in morbidity and even an increase in the infection coefficient approaching 1. In recent days, the number of verified patients has been set at an average of about 5,000 diagnosed, but the number of patients in critical condition continues to decline and now stands at 366, of whom 165 are seriously ill. The percentage of positive tests also slowed down and now stands at 15%.
In light of this, the Ministry of Health is concerned about the increase and fears that as early as next week we will see a significant increase in the number of verified, when we have not yet fully emerged from the fifth wave. At the same time, the outline in the education system will be completely over, so there are no initiated tests and students who are not vaccinated are not required to go into isolation after contact with a verified person like the adults. Corona headquarters fear it will increase the daily number of infections but there will be no records and controls for this.
