The Israeli fuel company, which is controlled by Lahav, reports that it has signed a cooperation agreement with ZEN ENERGY, a company related to Zoko Combinations and Delek, which imports and markets equipment for industry and the defense system, as part of which it will establish high-power charging stations at major Delek stations throughout the country.
In the first phase, 40 charging stations will be built at a number of major gas stations, selected according to their location on major arteries that allow continuous travel for long distances, including Mitzpe Ramon, Rosh Pina and Tel Aviv, as well as an option to deploy additional charging stations later. The charging stations are manufactured by SIEMENS - the German industrial conglomerate - and are expected to have a power of 150KW. The charging cost will be competitive and will allow charging of about 70% of the battery contents in about 15 minutes.
